The product team at InsideSales.com is looking for an aspiring product manager who wants to work with one of the fastest growing SaaS companies in the country as a Product Manager. The position offers someone with a love of technology, research, and client interaction the chance to begin a career in product management.

As a Product Manager, you will play a vital role in helping InsideSales.com manage their products to the needs of the market. As a result, the Product Manager will be responsible to become an expert in four areas: (1) The Market, (2) Market Problems, (3) Buyer Needs, (4) User Needs. Additionally, you will oversee building solution scopes for the identified market problems and manage the release of those solutions in the marketplace. In doing so, you will have access to a UI designer to design the interface for the proposed solutions and a technical writer who will write a requirements document to be sent into development.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a comprehensive market analysis for the products you manage
  • Report to management the problems facing our target customers in the market
  • Build and maintain product positioning documents for internal use and training
  • Maintain buyer and user personas of target customers
  • Interview customers, evaluators and potentials customers then translate their feedback into usable product enhancement ideas
  • Oversee the scope creation process from image prototypes to scope document review
  • Work with the Technical Writer in the writing process to ensure designs are developed according to prototype requirements
  • Maintain product roadmaps for your products
  • Some travel required for onsite customer interviews and observation
  • Maintain relevant process docs and reports for upper management
  • Manage operational and strategic KPI’s for your position
  • Review both written and video documentation involving your products for accuracy before its release
  • Train internal user and external users on new feature and product releases

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor in Business Management or equivalent experience
  • MBA or Masters in Information Systems a plus
  • Pragmatic Marketing Certification a plus
  • 1-3 years Product Management experience
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Experience creating requirements documents
  • Experience with Photoshop and Illustrator a plus
  • HTML, CSS, PHP, or Javascript a strong plus
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, CRMs, and telephony a major plus
