InsideSales.com™ has its own internal inbound telephone system that integrates directly to the lead mangement system. Agents log in to the inbound dialer system, and mark themselves as available to take inbound calls. Agents can be available on just one, or an entire series of toll-free numbers. When a call comes in from a toll-free number it finds an available agent, rings the agent’s station phone, and connects the two calls together. If used in conjunction with the InsideSales.com™ CTI pop-screen feature, the agent automatically gets a window pop-up with the data sheet of the person who called in. If it is a first-time caller, it will pop a blank sheet so the agent can immediately capture vital customer data.

If no agents are available to take calls, the toll-free routing system automatically moves the call to a fail-over destination of your choice. This could be a general office line, your internal voice messaging system, or even a cell phone. Any inbound calls that do not get taken by a live agent are captured in the CRM database with the phone number from the originating caller, and the toll-free number they used to call in.
