PROVO, Utah, January 17, 2013 - InsideSales.com, the leading inside sales automation and analytics provider, today announced the United States Patent Office has issued U.S. Patent No. 8,325,738 protecting the ability to engage in any auxiliary function (call recording, conferencing a call, etc.) of a web-based phone call after the call has been made.

The patent, Apparatus System and Method for Web-based Phone Services, claims technology for administration of a web-based call session and protects the use of any auxiliary function engaged during a call, including initiating a call recording, playing a pre-recorded voicemail, bridging a call, and creating a third-party conference call.
