Accelerate '17 Executive Summit will be held at the beautiful Snowbird Ski Resort nestled in Little Cottonwood Canyon.  Our Accelerate mountain village is a short 40 minutes from the Salt Lake City Airport and easily accessible despite its remote location.

There are several lodging options to choose from at the Resort. However, space is limited and this event will sell out. Book your lodging early to take advantage of our special negotiated room rates and to ensure you have the room that best meets your needs.

FAQs

What is included in the registration fee?

Your registration fee covers your conference pass, labs and workshops, networking events, meals, skiing/snowboarding passes and entertainment.

Are there special conference hotel rates?

Yes. We negotiated special room rates for Accelerate attendees, but space is limited. As a special bonus, our negotiated group rates are available to extend your pre-conference stay. Please inquire with Snowbird directly, and note that once the designated event room block is filled, rates will return to normal peak season levels.

Is on-site registration available?

Subject to available capacity, you can register onsite at the full conference rate.

When should I plan to arrive for the conference?

Please check in on Monday, February 13, early enough to enjoy our mountaintop welcome reception, which begins at 6:00 pm. The main conference will kick off the following morning at 8:00 am.

I am bringing a guest. Can they participate in any activities?

Yes. Guests are invited to the welcome reception on Monday. On Tuesday, guests are encouraged to join us for the cocktail reception, dinner and Collective Soul concert.

Are babysitting services available?

Yes. Camp Snowbird provides a great child care solution. Open daily throughout the winter season, their state-licensed facility ensures a safe and nurturing environment with a wide variety of engaging activities. Advance reservations are required for all children attending Camp Snowbird. Spaces are subject to availability and may fill up at any time. Learn more here

What is the recommended attire for the conference?

The recommended attire for Accelerate '17 is “mountain business casual”. It’s like business casual, but in February at 8,000 feet.

What should I expect for weather conditions?

Plan on outside temperatures at or below freezing. Prepare for both snow storms and bright sun (which can quickly burn the unprotected skier’s face).

Will there be other activities if I don’t ski or snowboard?

Yes. Non-skiers will enjoy a $75 credit toward The Cliff Spa treatments. Be sure to call ahead to book your spa treatment at 801.933.2225. We’ve also organized yoga classes and snowshoeing activities to keep you busy while the others hit the slopes.

What winter clothing should I bring?

This is Snowbird’s heaviest snow year in a very long time. You will frequently venture outside Snowbird’s Cliff Lodge and can expect to encounter wet snow or ice. A warm jacket and winter footwear with ample tread will be a necessity. Skiers and snowboarders should also bring sunblock and goggles or sunglasses.

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

All Accelerate event cancellation requests must be received in writing. Please email your cancellation request to accelerate17@insidesales.com. For a 50% refund, cancellation requests must be received by 11:59 pm MST on January 16, 2017. No refunds will be given after 11:59 pm MST on January 16, 2017.

If you are unable to attend Accelerate, you may transfer your registration to another person by sending an email to accelerate17@insidesales.com with the new attendee's name and contact information no later than Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 11:59 pm MST. Substitutions requested after this date may be subject to a US $100 transaction fee. Hotel reservation cancellations and substitutions must be taken care of directly with Snowbird by calling 800-232-9542 or contacting the property with which the original reservation was booked if you booked outside our room block.

Will I be able to rent equipment?

Yes. Top of the line demo ski and snowboard equipment, as well as basic rentals, gear, accessories and more are available for rent at Snowbird Resort. Accelerate attendees will receive a 20% discount on rentals. You can reserve equipment in advance at Cliff Sports by calling 801.933.2291. Ski and snowboard lockers and boot warmers are available at the resort on Level 1 in the Cliff Lodge and are included with each hotel room. Learn more here
