XANT Announces Product Launch for Google Calendar Sync

Provo, Utah—June 14, 2011—XANT, the leading provider of sales intelligence and productivity solutions for inside sales professionals, announced today the product launch of their Google Calendar Synchronization tool. This major system enhancement dramatically extends the flexibility and accessibility of the XANT event management system, giving Microsoft Outlook, Android, and iPhone users direct and mobile access.

“This product launch is the result of an initiative to give customers a voice in choosing features they want, which we started last October, said XANT President Ken Krogue. “This is one of nearly a dozen projects we’ve completed since then from customer feedback.”

The Google Calendar Sync connects from the Calendar portion of the XANT Lead Response Management (LRM) system, using Google’s API to synchronize tasks and events between applications. Because the Google Calendar API is cross-platform and mobile-ready, this allows users to manage their workflow from any compatible, connected device.

“We soft launched a beta version several months ago, and got very positive responses and feedback,” stated Thomas Purdy, XANT’s Director of Product Development. “This official launch is the result of a lot of hard work by our teams, and we’re excited to give our customers this functionality.”
